Jim Rovers is Senior Vice President - Operations, for AFIMAC Canada. Mr. Rovers is a security practitioner having worked extensively in Canada for the past 30 years. Jim has responsibility for all of AFIMAC Canada's operations. Specialties: Labour Dispute Management, Threat Risk Assessments, Investigations, Executive Protection.
Rob Shuster PANELIST
Rob Shuster
Vice President of Protective Services and Training

Prior to joining AFIMAC, Mr. Shuster spent most of his 30 year career with a global leader in uniform security and investigations services. There, he held various positions including: executive protection detail leader, director of training, vice president of corporate development and senior vice president of the asset protection team.

Mr. Shuster is a respected expert in security practices and training related to crisis management and response, labor disputes, close protection operations, special event security, security awareness programs, evasive & defensive driving, and executive protection program design. He has written corporate security articles and white papers, and has lectured for many noted organizations including the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the International Society of Special Event Planners, the Young Presidents Organization, Penn State University, the Tactical Response Association and the International Association of Chiefs of Police. Mr. Shuster has also served two (2) four year terms on the private security advisory board for the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services.
Rich Feronti PANELIST
Rich Feronti
Director of Operations

Mr. Feronti is a consummate logistics and security professional with more than two decades of military service, operational planning and risk management leadership experience. Last year at AFIMAC, he oversaw the planning of 122 separate contract expirations and deployed personnel/equipment for 41 separate events.

Prior to join AFIMAC, Mr. Feronti managed the operations and sales teams of a risk management and consulting firm where he honed his special expertise in disaster recovery operations and business contingency planning. Before that, he served six years with the United States Marine Corps as a Logistics Officer stationed in multiple locations within the United States and around the globe. Most Notably, Mr. Feronti led the operational planning and execution of worldwide deployments involving thousands of Marines and associated equipment. His extensive military training and security experience includes personnel management, operational planning, expeditionary logistics and security operations.

He holds a bachelor's Degree in Aeronautics from Miami University and resides with his family in Avon, Ohio.
