Security
Apply
  • Possess a valid dual Security and Investigator License.
  • Responsible for all security related activities for AFIMAC on site. Responsible for the planning, strategy, organizing, coordinating and direction of security personnel at the job site, to include supervision of logistical support, health and welfare.
  • Responsibilities also include safety of all employees and customer or contractor personnel entering or leaving the premises.
  • Chief liaison between the client and AFIMAC, police agencies, media and all outside contacts and AFIMAC on site.
  • Responsible for all staffing and payroll decisions on site including relieving of position, demotion, firing or promotion as the situation warrants within AFIMAC policies and guidelines.
  • Can delegate authority but not responsibility.

  • Possess a valid dual Security and Investigator License.
  • Serves as the 2nd in command of the security unit under the direction of the Project Coordinator. Duties include supervision of posts and assignments, coordination of activities, training of individual security officers, and review of all incident reports, evidence collection, logs, videography and related documents.
  • Supervises and directs receipt, storage and distribution of all equipment, vehicles and supplies.
  • Provides for the general health and welfare of the individual security officer.
  • Directs tactical deployment of the guard shift and insures that appropriated critical equipment is provided for.
  • Supervises the proper collection and processing of evidence and video documentation for the client.

  • Advises and assists the project coordinator in carrying out his/her administrative responsibilities to include payroll, logistical support, equipment inventory, expenses/petty cash disbursements, evidence collection and processing, filing and log keeping responsibilities and any other assigned duties.
  • Responsible for maintenance of operations' security record-keeping, logging system and filing.
  • Monitors subordinates in correct procedures for the collection and proper preservation of all forms of physical and documentary evidence.
  • Maintains a log and filing system for the following events:

    • Visitor Log
    • Line Crossing
    • Vehicle Log
    • Shift Summaries
    • Inventory Checklist
    • Police Log
    • Video Log
    • Executive Summary
  • Set up and maintain filing systems for:
    • Employee Personnel Files
    • Credit Card Usage
    • Employee Rotations
    • Petty Expense Records
    • Payroll Records
    • Evidence Box
    • Travel
  • Under the direction of the project coordinator, maintain direct liaison with the client's legal counsel as requested. Prepare summary videotape excerpts for client review.

  • Provides for the documentation and recording of illegal and improper behavior.
  • At the direction of a supervisor/coordinator, maintains video surveillance of illegal activities.
  • May perform roving, stationary or escort duties for the purpose of documenting incidents and maintaining chain of custody of evidence.
  • Must have a thorough working knowledge of handheld video equipment and camera equipment.
  • Must have an understanding of labour injunction requirements.
  • Must have an understanding of the rules of evidence and be capable of testifying in legal proceedings.

  • May perform stationary, foot, or mobile patrols.
  • At the direction of a supervisor/coordinator, may be required to contain and control crowds or individuals in a strike environment, and may be exposed to verbal abuse from those people being controlled.
  • Will be required at the direction of a supervisor/coordinator to collect and control evidence, write reports, and testify in legal proceedings.
